MAGCOOP Announces Election Results for Board of Directors and Committee Members

Following the recently held elections during its Online/Virtual Sequential General Assembly from July 12 to September 9, 2021, Magsaysay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAGCOOP) announced the newly elected board of directors and members of different committees.

We welcomed Capt. Rene Juntado, Patrick Maxwell, and Maria Sweetadel Dy to the board and Jessie Aslor, Jr. and Maureen Rigor as new members of the election committee. The general membership voted and ratified the one-year extension of service of five directors whose term of office ends in 2021. They are Alexander E. Querol, Noriela M. Leonidas, Syntyche O. De Jesus, Joy S. Hernaez, and Avelina P. Laud.

Moreover, during the organizational board meeting held last October 1, the board elected Alexander E. Querol as Chairperson and Arnold B. Javier as Vice-Chairperson. The board also appointed different committees including credit, ethics, mediation and conciliation, education and training, and gender development.
